You must be 13 year or older to use bungie.net.
-
13 year olds usually believe in fairy tales
-
I rest my case.
-
But it's true
-
Thus you aren't older than 13.
-
Because I have common sense and a more cynical view?
-
yeah, the fairy tale is the claim that our universe could have made its' self. the complexity of one cell immediately kills that concept.
-
yeah, the fairy tale is the claim that our universe could have made its' self. the complexity of one cell immediately kills that concept.
Ooooh boy. We've only been around for 100,000 years while the universe has been around for billions. If you roll a die every second you're going to get a six at some point, might as well be now. Also Christians believe the universe built itself.

Edited by SuperJohnJohn: 5/12/2017 1:35:30 PMwhat heck? you still don't make since
-
what heck? you still don't make since
What are you confused about? And why are you saying heck lol
-
well, your logic is screwed to the power of ten. we don't have a six sided die. lets do the math okay? to make a protein necessary for a cell we need eighteen amino acids lined up perfectly. how many possible combinations are there? 80,565,897,790,556,484,331,853,683,635,455,188,641,153,130,615,007,586,212,065,641,158,382,825,932,264,580,893,348,703,495,944,999,430,736,494,624,809,659,167,257,514,196,428,553,896,530,220,371,268,633,554,761,393,694,524,726,618,052,095,317,271,005,610,265,458,958 ,339,142,478,500,165,876,948,193,163,426,136,256,587,561,305,849,13 8,037,669,548,762,791,424,882,462,300,398,045,942,142,414,983,994,6 86,724,422,113,316,261,214,782,027,276,598,050,830,576,914,876,862 ,606,199,036,633,813,274,538,095,537,418,802,400,863,452,571,283,15 0,031,685,706,253,756,360,391,382,158,266,808,433,623,870,159 that is how many possible combinations you can get without any other variables but amino acids. the ocean would have a lot more in it than amino acids. we have 7,363,440,000,000,000 minutes in 14 trillion years. we don't have the time t run through the possible combinations. to help illustrate. lets throw the parts to a porche 911 into the ocean and see if it comes out a fully built car. it won't. why? because it can't. a single cell is made of lot of proteins if we can't get one protein in 14 trillion years we can't get a cell. never the less the proteins have to fold themselves correctly. it doesn't make logical sense
-
Going off chance infinite time= infinite possibilities. That's going to happen at some point, might as well be now
-
we can not have infinite time. that defies logic. matter must come from something. nothing can come from nothing.the infinite time idea is just wishful thinking to not have to consider the logical parameters around the universe. obviously you do not understand what you claim to believe. please come back when you can acrually argue your point

You're claiming a God comes from something and can manipulate physical objects without being physical, like what the force is or magic. I'm saying it's always been around.

Edited by SuperJohnJohn: 5/14/2017 2:40:25 AMno, you claim that. i have made no claims on that yet. I have been addressing the obvious logical inconsistencies you have made.

well, i am a nationally decorated speaker and debater. still no argument just insult.
well, i am a nationally decorated speaker and debater. still no argument just insult.
Like you said, no claims. No claims=No argument. I did year 8 debating so I know what I'm talking about. Plus don't take the insult personally, it's a friendly jest.
-
no, i think you got that backwards. I've made no claims on God or anything. you have. i've given you empirical data and math yet you make illogical refutations that cannot happen because of the laws of the universe and science. I have yet to see anything but straw-men and logical inconstancies. please come back with some data to actually refute my points. BTW. there are 400 amino acids in a protein. with 16,000 proteins in a cell. chances are that If a cell assembled in the ocean using chemical bonding methods (heat, energy, electricity) it would be destroyed before it made anything useful. also if one thing linked out of place it would be useless and if one element that didn't belong link it would be useless.

Tldr nothing can come from nothing something nothing god is still real because he's nothing because he's not something but nothing can't come from nothing something something something
-
what about gravity. it doesn't have a physical form yet it has physical impact.
-
what about gravity. it doesn't have a physical form yet it has physical impact.
It is a physical entity, that's why the physical world can manipulate it drongo.
-
where can i touch gravity? what about taste, smell or see gravity. al we can see is its effects.
-
where can i touch gravity? what about taste, smell or see gravity. al we can see is its effects.
You can feel it. Or more specifically feel the absence

Edited by SuperJohnJohn: 5/15/2017 11:45:55 PMan indirect proof. so far, i've laid out how ridiculously impossible it is for life to have evolved. I can't even break out the math of the impossibility of the big bang. and by elimination it leaves one alternative. a maker.
