stop the people selling carries
due to bungie terms of services selling carried flawless or raid carried are against this as your making money from the service bungie has provided you and this is marketed as illegal

The only true way to get rid of paid carries would mean redesigning trials for lesser skilled players. Let's face it not everyone is going to get good. There will be people that will get carried. But lesser skilled want to get to the lighthouse whether it's for weapons or just the grimoire. I can bet that the main reason is the grimoire though. It was my only focus to play. I'll admit I got carried through at least the second half of the card. But I was with friends. I got the auto rifle but I don't even use it. I was happy that I got the grimoire. I don't have to get there now so I don't play unless I try to do bounties. If they were to redesign trials they could make it where a win after a loss erases the loss allowing to keep going. That's just an example. Or they can lower the amount of wins to get there to at least 5.

3 RepliesWhat about free carries ? I have done a single carry in trials & over a double carry through every raid. Never asked for money. Helped people less motivated/skilled.

It's simple supply and demand. I can't blame any streamer or player who profits off of what is a very real demand. If there was no demand for doing paid carries or recoveries, then the problem wouldn't exist. The root of the problem is people who are too lazy to put in effort themselves and would rather pay someone else to do it for them.

3 RepliesVery few people actually do paid carries. By far the majority trade carries for twitch subscriptions and views with priority going to donors. If you want to stop people offering carries, then you'd have to stop people wanting to watch streamers playing trials.
