Yes I have, all through high school, that's how I learnt that using a vocabulary to write a paragraph and stalling is a worse way to deliver a point. It makes you look smart to dumb people but anyone with over half a mind will see you're padding and won't take it seriously. The best way to win the people is to be part of them, what appeals to people isn't a thesaurus. Probably half the reason Trump is in

Can't say I agree that not wishing to stoop to the lowest common denominator (a la Trump) so you can fit in with the crowd qualifies you as a "self centered egowhore" but hey, if that's how you feel about it.

It's basic maths, 50% of the world has below average intelligence. I don't alienate 50% of people because they weren't lucky enough to have an upbringing like me.

Again, can't say I agree using and expecting proper grammar is "alienating" anyone. If anything, I'd think it'd be demeaning to assume they couldn't handle it.
