They just need to get rid of anything having to do with the chief if they want to keep going. To be honest his story should have ended after Halo 3. [spoiler]I wouldn't mind another spin off game like ODST. Something like that would be pretty awesome. [/spoiler]

ODST was one of the best imo, most people give it little to no credit sadly. As far as the chief goes, cortana should've been long gone alongside the chief already...but they just HAD to drag that out.

ODST is probably one of the best FPS games of all time being perfectly honest. [spoiler]A lot of people got annoyed by the overworld, but I liked how they used that basically as a tutorial and a way to practice what you learned in the missions. [/spoiler] I really hope that 343 can come up with some way to make a good game set in the Halo universe. I wouldn't even mind a game playing as Elites or something like that.

I always wanted to be the flood and take over random bodies. Be the hunter, brute, elite, grunt, marine, maybe even the chief...all floodified. Definitely a side project type of game but still. ODST was fun for me because, let's face it..who doesn't love the rain? Either my memory is HORRIBLE or I remember it raining constantly in ODST's [u]freeroam[/u] area. Had to underline since that's one of the other things I enjoyed, not exactly free roam but basically ya know? Then the smg was awesome, underpowered but awesome. Tldr; Pretty sure anyone who hates odst and loves halo 4+ just hates the rain and sucks at the games. Probably need help.
