This isn't a discussion about if a game has or has not been on a preorder list. It is about the fundamental truths and basic economics. Why did preordering start? Why is it still a thing?

    I'm sure one reason it started was to make sure they knew how much to expect on launch day, which should be he busiest day of the video game.

  • And it stuck because of people "throwing money at the screen" So if money is what drove us to this point, why cant money get us out? In the end, how we use money matters.
