I just look at it like this:
Primaries can kill my opponent, but don't expect anything amazing without a specific roll and good thumb skill.
Specials are like chasing Zebras now, yet the Potential 1HKO is why I even bother playing more conservatively when I go for ammo.
Heavies are left to the imagination.

The Icebreaker is slowly becoming my new 'primary' weapon. I really need to give the Invective a try after buying it from Xur...

Like the IceBreaker, each death also resets its ammo regeneration cool down. Also aim for the waist before holding the trigger as It's real killing potential comes from the full auto perk. Just be ready to melee if your trigger button decides to go on break.

Biggest misconception in crucible " i need so and so roll to do well" its the biggest bunch of bullshit i hear when it comes to crucible.

For me, special weapons are meaningless now. If a weapon isn't reliable, it's unworthy of my use.

Ok. So semantics about damage numbers and nerfs aside - what Primary does the job for you the most?

Well, since in place of a special, my Titan uses grenades. They cover close range, so I use a heavy scout for far off. TTK is anout .8s, and I can usually gey it even with a body hit. My Hunter favors Invective for ammo-regenerating ability, but it's only good up close, so she uses a high-impact auto with focus fire.

I have gone 25 and 1 with the [armory]Cocytus SR4[/armory] and I have 2 Unbroken thanks to [armory]The Continental[/armory]. SR4 had Hand laid, TriTap and Firefly, The Continental had Croud Control, Counter Balance and Small Bore with a Stability Increasing Sight.
