Good stuff, but if you were to take this further I would suggest using weapons/armour/possibly races and biomes that are less similar to other fantasies. I found you using words such as "think of this fantasy" or "typical/traditional soandsos." Not neccesarily a bad thing, but I feel that you could be more creative and unique, as evident by your wildlife.
