Pay to play Beta
Like a lot of people I went to check out the pre-order costs and bonuses and I was honestly and seriously depressed by it. Though the one thing that stood out was "Beta access"
Why would you ever think that was a good idea? You aren't offering extended beta play which would be fine, you are literally charging people to bug test for you. Yes, I know there may be some companies out there that do that, but you shouldn't. I know oft times companies have closed betas, you really shouldn't. Betas are a good chance to test for bugs and test server load handling (remember the failure you had with RoI)
I had intended to use the beta as a yard stick for pre-ordering, but now you have taken that chance away. Oh yes, I could watch some YouTube clips and your gameplay reveal trailers, but to me that's like a virgin watching a a few porn videos and thinking that tells them what sex is like before they order a hooker. Either way your both f***ed.
Also, those people who fork out for the season pass one should get something a bit better than a what you're offering. You're scraping the bottle of the prize barrel there.

You are wrong. If you were listening properly to the trailers and were reading the leaked posters properly you would see that you get EARLY ACCESS to the Beta.

You do realize you can cancel your preorder if you don't like the Beta, right?? You can literally go spend $5 at GameStop to preorder....get a Beta code....then cancel your preorder and get your money back.

I won't be rude like these other twats. Just know that it's early access to the beta, and there will be a free one :). Side note; If you preorder on Amazon, you get the code and they don't take your money until the day before release, so you can have a few extra days of play time in the beta if you want.
