Lol as Nas said in the first chapter we first saw her in, she's mercurial ;) and I will be going back through once I'm done with this first full draft to clean things up, so please let me know if there are any plot points in the end that still seem confusing :)

Will do! When this installment of the series is over I'm going to go back to the first chapter of "red flowers bloom forever" and start from there. You really started making things confusing when you started bringing in alternate timelines, in hindsight, it's probably better to not read Volition logs at the same time as this, I think that's where most of the confusion is, since there's so many things going on at once, and it's an ongoing series, so something comes up in volition logs, and is assumed to be true for this as well, but then time travel happens, and that but of information is now only relevant to volition logs at least for now. Like that whole thing with the exo stranger and going into the vault with the team. It seems like that would have had an effect on Kennedi and Solis's relationship, but then in the most recent chapter of volition logs you changed the timeline. I'm assuming for now that the current chapter is in the same timeline as this. When you have multiple timelines it's hard to tell if each chapter is in the same timeline or if it's happening across multiple. Tl:Dr, TIMEY WIMEY WIBBLY WOBBLY = CONFUSION

lol I feel ya man, but def check back in the Stranger episodes to the grimoire references and how the Vault episodes end - what you saw in there was revealed to be just one of multiple simulations, with the current chapter picking up with the main timeline :) hope that helps, just remember that in this series of stories Dr maya sundaresh is the exo Stranger so she has experience with experimenting with multiple simulations
