You do know scout rifles with iron sights flinch just as much if not more right?
And NLB is long ,
So just think of it like they shoot the weapon.

Scout rifles have a consistent fire rate. They can afford the initial shot being a miss. In most cases, you die if you miss your first (and probably only) shot in a gunfight.

I never implied that it's used like a scout rifle. I just think that as a sniper that makes you pull back the bolt after every shot, the first shot should count. And I don't think horizontal flinch helps. As for the reload cancel, for those that do that, it still takes a short moment to complete it. It's very short, but definitely takes up more time than any other sniper.
