As an original trilogy I disagree entirely. The writing, characters and entire presentation have taken a huge step back.

I disagree finishing the game yesterday the story was decent for being something new. As for characters I felt they were fleshed out really well all squad mates even Cora who I hate with a passion had their own unique aspects of thei own story which was nice to see. Other characters in the campaign felt like they were there with a purpose not just doing shit.
