You're entitled to your opinion but for those of us that played the original three it's probably below average. Outside the odd face animations it's lacking in so many area. There is a ton to explore but nothing worth exploring, the arsenal of weapons and armor is small and boring. There may be 100 assault rifles but it's really only 10 because they are in tiers. The combat is also lacking finesse and it's so clunky. This game is less than average for now until they fix these issues. This game may be good compared to that God awful game no man's sky.

Even if you have legitimate reason to dislike the game, I thinly you wasted your time here. Andromeda has more unique weapons than any other game in the franchise, and has plenty of very meaningful exploration unlike me2 or me3. As for clunkiness, the game has gone from rusty gears to an electric humm in terms of smoothness. An overall improvement in most ways from the original trilogy.
-
If this was 2014 I would agree.
-
There's nothing to really disagree with here. Andromeda has more weapons, far more exploration, and the least clunky gameplay out of all games in the franchise. This would be the case no matter what year it was.
-
Having played the original three is irrelevant. I haven't seen anybody say that they love it and didn't play the originals. It's a great game, and worthy of the Mass Effect name, in my humble opinion.
-
Hey don't compare this pile of garbage to No Mans Sky, it might not have been what everyone wanted but atleast actual EFFORT was put into making it. 0 -blam!-s were given developing ME:A
-
You CANNOT recreate your experience from the original trilogy It is a one time thing. You can only revolutionize this once.
-
Did you play the original trilogy? This game has quite literally 10x as many armor and weapons to choose from. Not even exaggerating. You had like 4 choices in ME2, ffs.
-
I'm just saying for a game that came out in 2017 it's average.
-
"Average" and "Small and Boring" aren't very similar descriptions
-
That's what happens when EA buys a company and all the talent in that company Bri g Bioware this time leave
-
Fair enough, but that's not really relevant considering this isn't even a studio that was acquired in that purchase. EA opened BioWare Montreal several years afterwards. You are however correct that most of the well know talent has departed BioWare proper, aka BioWare Edmonton.
-
I've probably played the original trilogy more than most of the users on this site. Why you assumed I haven't played them is beyond me.
-
It really doesn't even matter what dialogue option you pick and all the AI acts the same, move from left to right cover left right. The original mass effects all scored 90%+ and these has been anywhere from 55%-76%....not saying your opinion is wrong it's your opinion but this is an average game.
-
Just like the ai in the other mass effects.

Something i noticed with all my multiple playthroughs of ME1-3 is this: The paragon/Renegade options barely even made a difference in the games. Even if you dont make Saren kill himself youll still fight him regardless No matter what TiM always kills himself Either the Rachni Queen lives and returns in Me3 or you kill her and she still returns in Me3. Also, AI in ME games have always been easily exploitable. Now i dont go off review scores, since i prefer to form my own opinion, but to me the game is an 8.5-9. Im starting to think you havent played it or havent played it long. Im done here though.
-
I've only played it for maybe 16 hours.
-
Some people have low expectations, I wanted it to be better than even Mass Effect 3. It's fine you enjoy it but a lot of people are disappointed.
-
My only expectation was that it was gonna be another great Mass Effect game. The 41 hours I have in it is a good indicator of it being great. Easily has the best combat of any ME game. Story is interesting because you're going to an entire different galaxy. I've seen fans hate on it and give it praise. Yeah, there's glitches. ME has always launched with glitches. Not gonna suddenly be bothered by it now because people are finally taking notice. We're clearly on opposite sides of the spectrum.
