A note from #3.
If what you say is true about ghosts regenerating limbs, why is it that the guardian in the new AoT Eris Morn grimoire card has a vex tech arm?
Is this due to the fact that his ghost was also corrupted with vex tech, and therefore the ghost either mended a vex limb to his, or simply regenerated the limb as a vex limb?

Perhaps a Ghost can do this with permission of the Guardian.

Or just that machine is still stronger than flesh.

So I've already said this in response to another comment, but I'll say it here too. I believe it to be an anomaly with the Vex, as this sort of thing is not at all normal, and given the condition of the Guardian and Ghost, was likely forced upon the Guardian rather than him making the choice. For this reason, I stand by what I said in the post.
