I like the podcast overall, but the audio needs some attention. The varying levels between the hosts is a little off-putting as well as the general vocal audio quality. I know nothing about podcasting, so can't offer any advice regarding possible equipment/mics and whatnot, but would love to hear the show with a more polished finish.

Appreciate the feedback. We try to get sound quality as good as possible, but we do a podcast where the guests are everyday members of the community and not professional podcasters or YouTubers/streamers. While RWG and I have invested in audio equipment, our guests have what they have. We have evolved to where we set what we feel are minimum quality acceptance levels, but the fact is that most people don't own great recording equipment. The point of the podcast is to give the everyday player the chance to come in and give Bungie their feedback on the same platform as a streamer. We will always continue to try to evolve and get better and we appreciate your feedback.

I edit each podcast in Cakewalk and some episodes I have to raise or lower sound on one or multiple guests post-recording. This has to be done individually for every section they speak. Like most podcasts, I also edit out gaps in conversation to give it a more natural feel. Each episode is about 12-15 hours to produce after it's recorded with audio editing usually about 5-6 hours. I will try to continue to get the levels as even as possible, but this is something we don't do for a living and is a huge time investment just how we do it. I'll look into compressing episodes more though. The other issue is playback devices vary and it's optimized for what I can hear it play back on and on my phone and tablet the sound levels are even.
