Jealousy is a powerful motivator.
Notice how nothing the hate mongers have ever said or done have ever really drawn the attention of Bungie.
Nothing they have lambasted people for ever made Bungie say "hmm, maybe their right".
It's never happened because at the end of the day Bungie sees them for what they are. Insignificant loudmouths.

Maybe. Hard to say since that's an opinion and Bungie has very little actual communication with its own forum. But I do notice a lot of back-patting and jealousy labels being thrown around against dissenters. Just another day at the office.
Back-patting is appropriate for job-well-done recognition. Nothing wrong with it here.
Casey et al. are trolls with long-standing agendas against Sols and anybody they perceive as aligned with him.
Perhaps "jealousy" is the wrong word. The simple fact that the DTC's recognition rubs anybody the wrong way is pretty damn entertaining.
I don't like it either. Rather sad that a forum thread flaming Bungie sycophant can finally get the attention it coveted for so long. It was waaay more entertaining watching him flair his arms and kick and scream, "look at me!"
