I wish that our guardian spoke more. Even little things like call outs of higher level enemies. But I'd love it if they gave the ghost and guardian some back and fourth during missions and strikes. And that it (the dialog) would slightly differ between classes since their core personalities seem to be different

Elite enemy would prompt a "Badass" call out. Critical hits sometimes prompted some comment. Inbound Grenade sometimes prompted a "GRENADE!!" Health prompted well "Found some healing." It made the character feel alove but didn't make them detach from the player. Its odd...to be blunt Destiny basically rips off borderlands...but messed up in so many ways. Borderlands gave the player choices in quest turn ins, and etc that shaped the personality of their character. Destiny doesn't. Loot in year 1 was non-existent...while it rained loot in Borderlands. (Took Destiny nearly 2 years to figure out that players will replay content if the loot is plentiful.) Borderlands had no dedicated PVP due to the RNG of rolls on weapons & etc, it only duels. Mainly because Gearbox said it wasn't possible to create balance without removing the rolls (and in effect nearly all the guns & etc.). Destiny tries to balance both which just isn't possible & thus gets it tangled in itself. (Just disable perks in pvp Bungie.) Destiny chests are not rewarding, Borderlands chests are exciting & exploding with rewards. (Who would have thought there would ever be an RPG where Treasure Chests are something you don't care for?) Borderlands scales rewards & the world to the player. Keeping everything relevant. (Age of Triumph fixes this...nearly 3 years later.) Borderlands scales content, so you can solo, duo, and fully group content. So everyone can experience all the content with grouping being encouraged as it increased the rewards. Sorry for the little rant.
