I have some free weights at home that I'll lift every once in a while. I stand all day at my job, and sit all day at home and in class, so I lift just to stay in shape.

  • I'd lift more, but my metabolism refuses to let me gain any weight. I can't keep any fat to convert to muscle.

  • It's definitely doable. Maybe you've hit a plateau or something. Maybe something in your diet needs tweaking. It's hard to determine on here but you'd be able to gain weight. The body will do what you want it to if you set the conditions.
