Just got my first Platinum Trophy
So for those of you that live under a rock or are an obsessed xbox fanboy (I used to be one...trust me...), a platinum trophy basically means that you did every achievement in the game (in the original game cycle before expansions or future dlc). While I did have only one fully completed game on xbox (Destiny), Mass Effect 3 and Fallout 3 were almost there as well :/
Anyways...my first platinum trophy on PS4 is Horizon Zero Dawn. Yes some of you might look at the trophies and think it's easy, but like all others, it takes a lot of time and effort to platinum a game (or get all the achievements). Do you remember your first Platinum trophy? What game was it? Is it still worth it today? Is the game still fun for you? I know mine will be 20 years down the road. I'll look back on this day and smile :)

5 RepliesHad my PS4 since around launch and Horizon Zero Dawn is my first platinum as well. It's the only game that I actually cared about getting all the trophies for. Also glad they didn't have ones based on difficulty. Hate having to play through games again on harder difficulty to get a trophy or achievement

1 ReplyCongrats, but not to belittle the accomplishment (I don't have any 100% yet, got close with borderlands, the first one) but considering how long ago it came out, and how many people have been saying they already have platinum for it, it doesn't seem like it's that hard to do.

I've only played 4 games on Playstation: Bloodborne, Horizon Zero Dawn, The Last of Us, and One Piece Pirate Warriors 3. Of those, I perfected the first two. The latter two are just too grundy for me though. Perfected many more games on Xbox though.

11 RepliesMy first 100% was Mass Effect 2 I believe, and since then, I've 100% another 26 games I think? Close to completing the Witcher 3, just need headshots with a crossbow, and almost done with The Division's achievements also.

10 Repliesgamerscore is way cooler than trohpy count.. or trophy level for that matter also, Sont copied Micorsofts achievement idea way back when. Some of the first releases for PS3 had no trophys. They added (copied) that feature.

5 RepliesI love the way the achievements and trophies pop during gameplay, but in all honesty I don't chase or pursue these. Probably have never 100% all achievements on any game ever.

I did 95% of what I needed to do to get the MGSV platinum, but I lost interest and ended up getting rid of the game when I went all digital. I ended up getting it again on Xbox when it was on sale. I got all of the achievements also. I almost want to rent it or something just so I can actually say I got the plat, but I'm not that worried about it. If Xbox had a platinum trophy system I would probably have about 30.

Meh I don't go for achievements in games but I'd have a platinum for force unleashed if Xbox had a platinum system

28 RepliesNice, well done buddy ( ^ω^ ) I haven't yet managed all the trophies for horizon but I'm fairly close. Some can be a bit difficult though, like getting all blazing suns at all hunting grounds just because of a certain few trials being assholes sometimes... And some do take a good while to do, like finding all the metal flowers, I know they're marked on your map if you buy the map for them but it's only the general area and there's 30 of them, some of which are in really awkward places too...

3 RepliesI've got 5. I got Titanfall, Sly 1-3, and rocket league. Sly 1-2 and rocket league were easy, but sly 3 was really hard to 100%, as you had to comeplete all of the challenges on each episode. And Titanfall was easy and fun to get.
