ME 1,2,3 were phenomenally good games. Probably my favourite sci-fi franchise of all time. Don't know how i'll feel about this one since there no Commander Sheppard :( but what i DO know is the Mass Effect Universe is an extremely awsome one! If you were ever vaguely interesting in Star Wars, Star Treck, Halo universes etc. Mass Effect is DEFINATLY one to check out.

The gameplay videos sold me on this game, it looks interesting! It'll be my first mass effect game but I may look into getting the older ones later 👍 The never played Halo though, I was all about car games when I was younger haha.

Hey no judgment, i still play Dirt Rally atleast an hr a day. If it's any condolence to you, i've loved Sci-Fi ever since Sci-Fi was around. I used the think Star Wars was the best... until Mass Effect came along, hell i love it so much i feel SORRY for people who havn't experienced it. So yes, there's a reason why people are hyped for this game!!!

Of course I don't have much of an opinion on this game itself as I haven't played it yet, but from everything I've seen it looks good. Traditionally mass effect is a very story-heavy rpg in a very futuristic setting. If you aren't a returning fan of Mass effect, you will still be able to get into Andromeda fairly easy. The story of MEA is separate from the original trilogy almost entirely, so you should be able to just jump right in if you would like. You might not be able to appreciate a lot of things quite as much as if you played the trilogy, but there will be in-game lore that will cover the basics. All I can really say is to keep looking at some of the gameplay and look into it more to see if you're a fan. I'd recommend watching the gameplay series, it's 4 videos on how the gameplay of andromeda works and how it's different from previous games. Serves as a pretty good crash course. If you have any specific question I could try to answer them.
