Damn, people don't get sarcasm.
2 reasons (as far as I know)
1) English is not their first or primary language
2) people under age 12 or 13.
I think it must be more the prior than the latter. A normal 12yr old would understand sarcasm when it's so incredibly blatant.
*possible cause #3) low IQ.
