Needs more game modes. It boils down to being a fighting game and they can only hold me for so long these days

 • Imo, every fighting game should have a "Grim of the Abyss" mode, like BlazBlue. That thing's crazy fun. :D

 • BlazBlue? I would definitely recommend it! A bit more fanservicy than I'd prefer, but I grew attatched enough to a few of the characters, that a certain event in the newest one made me cry. ;-; But the gameplay is great! No character feels underpowered (to me), and only one feels op (Nine the Phantom). The Grim of the Abyss (which is darn near perfect in Centralfiction) is a "survival" mode of sorts, though with a twist. All of them are different, so I'll use Centralfiction's. There are "dungeons" you can enter, that pits you against random CPU oponebts with stat boosts based on dungeons. You can get "Grimiores" that drop from bosses, and "Skills" that drop from enemies. To equip a skill, you must first equip a grimiore, which can have skills assigned to it. Additionally, you get "Skill Points" from levelling up, that can boost your own stats. Each grimiore gives you a cap on your points, though you keep the same amount of points even when switching grimiores. • It is! I want a full fledged RPG with BlazBlue CF's Grimiore system. Wanna know what's an even better fighting game (provided you're on PS4) though!? Skullgirls! The roster is a bit small (14, I think), but every character is almost flawlessly balanced, the story is great, and the gameplay is phenomenal! Sadly, there's no Grim of the Abyss mode, but it does have Arcade, a wave of 10 fights one after another, with the--annoying--boss Bloody Marie at the end! A survival mode, where you fight until you can fight no longer, a bunch of unique challenges, and 4 combo trials for each character! The true beauty of Skullgirls however lies in 3 things; 1. The combo system. Unlike most fighting games, you have 6 attack buttons: LP, MP, HP, LK, MK, HP! This allows for even noobs to be able to pull off decent combos, like Squigly's: LP, MP, HP, 236MK, LK, MK, f.HP, 236HP, while at the same being complex enough to be hard to master! 2. The IPS! A great way of preventing infinite combos! I can explain if you want, but it's better tutorial is in game. 3. Squigly! (that's a character) It is on Xbox too, but the PS4 version is the "2nd Encore" version, with more stuff, and all DLC (including Squigly)! It's so great, I spent $360 on it! $10 Xbox version, $25 for all DLC characters, $5 on a color pack, $25 for the 2nd Encore version on PS4, and a $300 Madcatz Arcade Fightstick, just for Skullgirls! BLATANT ADVERTISEMENT!

 • I have a motto; speak with your wallet. I don't regret spending $60 on a $10-$25 game, because it was great, and Lab Zero deserves that money! The more people I talk into buting it great! More money for Lab Zero! More money=better chance if a sequel! :D If a sequel has even a small portion of these guys I'd be happy! In particular, we need more bad guys. People from the Circus, or Medici Mafia. Brain Drain would be nice too. Ooh, and I'd love to play as Annie or Marie, too! I just wish I knew about Skullgirls during their Indiegogo (or whatever) campaign. Would have loved to donate at least $100!

 • Yeah that's why I play it in short bursts. An hour or two every couple days so I don't get burnt out. For a fighting game though, this has been a much more enjoyable multiplayer experience for me. In typical fighters like Street Fighter and MK, I can lose 20 online matches back to back while giving it my all. Here at least sometimes I'm giving the beat down haha.

 • That's true, I had a lot of fun playing it compared to say, the last mortal kombat. I've been spoilt by RPGs, character customisation and what not is my vice. Same thing happened with tf2, loved the gameplay but without anything to work for I lost interest. It's odd because I do play for fun but I still need some form of goal to keep me invested.
