Those people are the main reason Trials is cancer to the game. Many people stopped playing because of the constantly grinding carriers.

It's really out of control, but what kills me is that people pay so why wouldn't they charge.
It's really out of control, but what kills me is that people pay so why wouldn't they charge.
Just watch "free carry" streams. Youll see it. People will offer to pay to go first. Yes, entrepreneurs went for the opportunity but theyre only half the issue.

You can't seriously be calling high school kids entrepreneurs...
You can't seriously be calling high school kids entrepreneurs...
1) not everyone doing recovs/carries is in highschool. Assumptions shoe your ignorance. 2) semantics is ehat youre going to focus on? Grow up, stay on topic.
-
The topic is how you're calling people who "work" under the table legitimate businessmen when in reality they are bottom feeders
The topic is how you're calling people who "work" under the table legitimate businessmen when in reality they are bottom feeders
Did i say legit businessmen? No. They saw an opportunity because the masses will pay, even if no one charges.. they.. will... pay. I called them "entrepreneurs" because they found away to generate income with unconventional methods. Idc if you think its praise to call them that, thats how you feel. I said stay on topic becausr you got hung up on a word I used instead of debating the issue of carries/recovs. So ill ask again, stay on tpoc.
-
Why not? They are selling a service that part of the community is MORE than willing to pay for.
-
Because they aren't entrepreneurs...there's no financial risk for them
-
Because they aren't entrepreneurs...there's no financial risk for them
Ahh but there is. Youre just stuck thinking everyone doing carries is 16.
-
And what risk is that?
-
And what risk is that?
Stay on topic buddy, i know it hard.
-
How is it off topic? We're discussing the same thing here. One response to "stay on tpic" as you put it is more than enough. By the way. Carries and recovs are not the only reason people don't play the playlist. But I can tell you from experience that there are way less people playing, and most complaints are about those particular people. Just look at the forums, at least 4 a weekend. Why not see more "oh I paid this dude money to play on my account, he's an upstanding guy".

Entrepreneurs pay taxes, you telling me they fill out a 1099?? Stop making them out to be more than they are.
Entrepreneurs pay taxes, you telling me they fill out a 1099?? Stop making them out to be more than they are.
How about you stop grtting hung up on a word and focus at the task at hand. I forgot, people like you look at every literally. Why would they fill out a 1099? This is about building assets. Its not a job, no enterprise is paying them. They also arent making a living off it. Focus on the issue, forget semantics.
-
Never thought of it that way. My bad & carry on. I guess I forgot about the "risk" part of entrepreneur.

Think of them more as kids on the side of the road selling lemonade
-
I actually looked that up wondering if they counted, and Google answered my question with: Here are the problems with the lemonade stand as a business enterprise: 1. No cost of goods or other expenses. When the parents provide the cups and lemonade, there is no cost to the kid entrepreneurs. In business, the cost of supplies are always purchased and typically need to be paid for up front. Whatever they sell, that money goes right to the bottom line and their pockets. This arrangement also avoids cash flow issues of having to pay for a product before it gets sold. The kid entrepreneurs also live with their parents. Unlike real entrepreneurs, they have no living expenses they must meet. As a result, kid entrepreneurs can sell their product for 5 to 25 cents. Expenses push this price much higher for a real business owner. 2. Free labor and rent. Kid entrepreneurs work for free. There is no opportunity cost because they are not giving up another paid opportunity to sell at the lemonade stand. Real entrepreneurs always have choices and need to make the most of their time. Wherever the stand is placed on, they are not paying rent to be there. For every other real entrepreneur, retail location is never free.
