Lvl 187. I can speak from experience that buck would be a good choice he is a solid operator. But so is caveria she is quite the game changer. You get an interrogating and everyone runs. But you have to play very patiently with her. Especially in ranked.
When I play as her I'll usually hide until the last minute unless circumstances say otherwise. As long as you stay quiet you shouldn't have an issue sneaking up on people.
From your list buck or caveria is your best options. Unless you still have vanilla operators you need?

Currently platinum 1 keep getting close to diamond then lose a couple games and drop 150 points. Plus recently if you beat a team they all back out and you get like 2 points. Haven't played in a couple days so I'm not sure if this has been fixed.

How's the competition there?

Pretty great. Good competition. You play the same guys occasionally but a good amount of variety. A lot of team back out if they lose though and you only get a point or two when that happens.

I think I just bought my 11th or so vanilla operator, but there's not really any other jumping out at me. I already have a couple I literally never use. (IQ, doc)

Ahh I see guess it depends on your play style. But jager is a solid operator along with bandit, doc is really good if you use him right. Attackers: for rushing ash is best. If you can play a shield Montaigne is excellent. IQ is great if you know the enemy will be using Valkyrie. Who do you typically use?

Defense: frost majority, mute, jager or Valkyrie. Attack: hibana, ash, twitch or fuze.

Those are all good operators with the exception of mute his gun kinda blows unless your great at getting headshots. And practice. His gadget though comes in very handy for keeping drones out and walls intact. One I recommend picking up for defense would be bandit his gun is great and so is his gadget. Attacking: thermite and thatcher. They work hand in hand and often times can win you rounds. Jackel the newest attacking operator, his rifle is arguably the strongest in the game. Plus his ability makes him a solid choice. But he'll run you 25,000 renown. All the operators a great. It's situational though.

Yea there's always times where I wish I had picked X not Y, but that's how the game works. Bandit has kinda been on my watch list, I'll probably pick him up after this next operator. I agree with you on mute, I use him on walls to keep out hibana and thermite but his gun is weak. I've got year 2 pass so I've got Mira and jakal. Haven't had a good match with him.

I've been busy with horizon zero dawn so I can't remember for sure. I think I'm in the 50s. Very slim chance I'm in the low 60s
