All I want to keep are my cosmetic kiosks. I've worked hard for those emblems and shaders and ships. My collections are nearly done, I want them to come with me. Getting a few goodies for being a veteran player is awesome, but the greatest honour that Bungie could give us are those kiosks.
As for losing our character progress and vault, I'm okay with that entirely. My vault is over packed and I'm ready for a cleanse, I just can't bring myself to delete anything.

They need to find a compromise on some things. Unless D2 is a completely different game, don't see why they can't bring at least old armor skins forward
-
I'm honestly not bothered. I'm bored with the subclasses except the tether and Voidwalker, I'm at max light and level, I have all my gear at 400, and I get so much gear I honestly feel so overwhelmed with it all I'm just kind of over it. I want to see what new they can come up with, not keep lugging all this baggage with me.

I'll post more on this later, at work now, but I think it benefits them to keep armor skins.
-
How so? As in keep the look of some of the gear? Haha I'm not sure what you mean by that
-
Yes. Being able to use transmogrification like WoW to give endgame armor the look of older sets. If people who got the VoG set in D1 could apply that to D2 gear, not only would it be badass and really let them stand out in D2, but it might make players that start in D2 want to purchase D1 and go get that gear.

Oh okay, I see what you mean. It's not a preference I have, really, but I can see the appeal of it. I do love my TTK Iron Banner titan set, bringing that with me would be excellent.
-
That's my favorite set, too!

I agree. Want my emblems. Armor and weapons im okay leaving behind.
