They're Guardians. It's entirely appropriate that they bear weapons in defense of the City.

RJ's mouthy, but I never held that against him. And Ventis was a very good student until he discovered Toland. Still kicking myself for reading that book on him at story time. Dawn, on the other hand... she was a challenge.
