Well, yeah Not having a New Released character that doesnt relate to you (Even as Minimal as Gender) for the 3rd time in a row just makes you think "Oh So theres a New Character, thats Cool, im just going to carry on with my life" Whereas if it was a Male Character (Lets Say DoomFist) you would be like "POWEEEERRRRR!!!!" "EVERYONE GET ON THE HYPE TRAIN!" "THE DOOMFIST TRAIN HAS NO BRAKES"

If we go by a possible pattern in the release of the characters so far, doomfist is probably next? We thought it was sombra but we got ana, then sombra afterwards. We thought this was gonna be doomfist, but we got orisa. Wouldn't be surprised either since Jeff already referenced him by name, and that means he is a character and he is gonna show up at some point.

I do, but thats not the point, im talking about the hype for new Releases If its just the same old "Here Have ANOTHER female Character" it gets Old pretty quick

The characters aren't defined by their genitals, though. They've all got different backstories and mechanics. I just don't see how gender figures in.

Edited by orkdestroyer1: 3/3/2017 12:36:01 AMWell, if you think about it, the males have a whole "Macho" Theme to it, Soldier and Reaper are Ex-Military, Reinhardt is a DEUS VULT Knight, McCree is a Cowboy, Junkrat has ABS, Hanzo is all about Honour Whereas the Female Characters (Bar Zarya and Maybe Pharah) have the Whole "Caring" Theme. Mercy is Depicted as a Mother, Ana is a Mother, Tracer Cares For Emily, Widow (Despite killing her Husband) still cares for Him, The New Character is Basically a Protectron, Symmetra Cares for the People (Sombra is the Odd one Out, well she Cares Mostly for Herself but thats about it) So if you have 3 new Characters with the same "Theme" It just gets old and Boring
