Again, not a baby. And killing is only murder in some situations. For instance, no one screams murder if you turn off someone's life support after years of being in a coma, even though that's a life. A fully grown one too. No one screams murder when you eat a bacon sandwhich, yet pigs are closer to a fully grown human than a foetus is. So why is this so controversial if very few people care about those other examples?

Generally r[b][/b]ape cases are only brought up as a copout for all other abortion cases, which in my opinion makes for a terrible excuse. On a related topic, I find it disgusting that ra[b][/b]pists are so lightly punished in this country. A girl I went to high school with was just rap[b][/b]ed and murdered a couple weeks ago by a man who had literally just gotten out of jail from a five year sentence he was given for r[b][/b]ape Didn't intend to come off so strong in that first post, I'm just really passionate about this topic

I never once mentioned those things, but thanks for assuming what my stance on them is. I guess it's my fault for leaving things to the imagination of people who want everybody who disagrees with them to be irredeemable assholes. If the pregnancy was caused by non-consensual sex, the woman has the right to abort. If protection fails, the woman has the right to abort. If the child will be stillborn, mentally ill or disfigured, the mother has the right to abort. If the birth will kill the mother, she has the right to abort. Does that clear things up for you?

Because I don't support abortion for the idiots who decide "I don't want a child at all, but I'm gonna have unprotected sex anyways!" Abortion has its uses, and I simply believe it should not be used as a Get Out of Jail Free card.
