Birth control and condoms can fail, and do you really think the horny masses will give up sex because they run the risk of pregnancy?
Abortions don't fail, granted they prevent a life from living but at least they are guaranteed to work.
I'm not saying that birth control or condoms aren't worth it, because their chance of failing is really low, but I'm saying that EARLY pregnancy abortion should be a viable option.

If somehow your method of protection fails, then yes, I do agree that abortion should be an option. However, lets be honest. How many abortions do you really think are because of this, and how many are just idiots who decided "I don't want kids, but I'll have unprotected sex anyways"?

There are statistics out there. You do know that, yes?

A lot of people are like that I agree, that's why I'm here. But even if they make it so it's only available to people who's protection failed, how exactly are you going to prove that? Bring in your broken condom? Prove that the pill failed?
-
You're right, you can't prove your condom failed. However, medical records and bills exist, so they can check if you did in fact take birth control.

That's very true

Wow, was not aware of some of those. Thank you. I knew there would be some risks to having an abortion (there are risks to any procedure), but I was unaware that abortions could actually fail, as in the fetus survives to be born anyways. However my opinion still stands that early pregnancy abortion should be an option.
