How can you possibly argue the fact that it's a broken gun that needs to be fixed? It's the only sniper without flinch and the only sniper that can be shot like a HRoF scout rifle with the reload glitch. I'm not saying it doesn't take skill to use, but it is broken and needs to answer to the same rules as every other sniper.
As for side arms, I personally love them. But, they as well should be subject to the same rules as every other weapon in the "special" classification. You can't possibly "balance" anything if you don't balance it across the entire classification of weapon groups.

If it's standard perks were that it has no flinch and the reload animation can be gotten around by pressing a series of buttons in order, then leave it. But, those aren't it's perks and they should be fixed. No one uses the gun without exploiting its glitch or for the fact it doesn't flinch. If it truly is a great gun, then it still will be if it's broken mechanics were fixed. If the only reason it's a good gun is because of these issues, then how truly good is it? And I don't guess about how it fires. You could literally watch hours of videos where people show how fast this thing can fire if exploiting the glitch. My opinion is mine to have and the problem with these forums is that bitches like you can't have a civilized debate without getting all butt hurt because their "opinion" is different than yours. Entitled much?

The thing is, this gun is the WORST gun in the game, it was a Joke when it first came out, it has never been buffed it always had those glitches, people are just whining now cause it's being used more. Saying that the gun fires like a HROF auto rifle is not an opinion, that's a lie

It is a joke of a weapon. Now even though I may have over exaggerated its rate of fire, it can easily fire as fast if not faster than the chaos dogma. And the last I checked, the dogma or any other scout like it can't 2 shot the body. If you're not going to address the reload glitch, then reduce its impact then? I don't know. I do know that it's broken it should be "fixed" not "nerfed". If anything is broke, it needs to be fixed bottom line, not just the NLB, anything.

It's a great weapon in the right hands. I don't get pissed when I get killed by it. My thing is, if bungie is trying to balance things, then everything needs to work as intended. It's only being used now because people absolutely refuse to use primary weapons. They want that kill with the least amount of gunplay required. This is probably why special weapons are used more than primaries. The ttk on primary weapons (except hand cannon) is lackluster. NLB is the only sniper now with guaranteed ammo upon spawn and the same for side arms in the special group. People hate using primaries and will do anything to use a special. So if they're attempting to "balance" the weapons, then each weapon in its classification needs to be held to the same set of rules. I hate nerfs just as much as everyone else. If anything, all the primary nerfs are the reason we're where we are now. NLB is a sniper that can be carried in the primary slot, therefore it should be allowed to have ammo at all times, but it still a sniper and should flinch as one. It's a bolt action, you shouldn't be able to negate the animation. Maybe give it an exotic perk that critical hits will cancel the reload.

Ok, hope you don't mind dealing with Ice Breaker instead, cause NLB will be useless, and as you said everyone will gravitate to the better gun

A HRoF Scout? I know how to do the glitch and never in my entire time using it have I had that many shots lined up and actually taken them as quick as a HRoF Scout can fire. Total hyperbole.
