Why are we still fighting the same enemies over and over. Isn't the universe huge and vast. Cabal attack should happen before Destiny 2. So we can start fresh.

Yes, the universe is vast, but for one, we don't really have the means nor the security to be leaving our system. New enemies may come, but the enemies here are here to stay until their goals are complete. (Be it eating the traveler or creating a warmind)
