Does it seem confusing? I wanted him to come across being conflicted and torn but without being wishy washy or anything so please let me know if he needs to have anything tweaked to make more sense :)

I think his character is fine. He's just extremely unsure of himself, as if his conscious eats away at him every second.

Ok cool that's what I was going for :D I still see his character as a game avatar that doesn't know it, but feels the problems with existing as a character rather than a real person, and his conflict through the main story helps him come to grips with it in his own way and helps him learn how to shape his own reality rather than being shaped by it ;) gotta keep up the free will vs. fate theme lol
