Why is that?

Sucks for me cause sidearms are the only secondary I'm good with in PVP.

They're the only Special weapon that isn't an almost guaranteed OHK. I prefer it honestly.

I'm betting on auto and scout rifles being everywhere with sidearm backup. It's really hard to imagine people running around with sidearms expecting to own when they will be picked off before they can get within range. Sidearms have always been decent if not good and, I bet, that after the patch you'll see more of a variety of primaries being used mostly with autos and scouts. Sidearms will see a rise in use because of the special ammo changes, however, once people learn to better manage their special ammo and ammo spawn times shotguns, snipers, and fusions will make a return.
