I'll take destiny over any recent CoD game(my use to be all time fav) any day. I paid 20$ for infinite Warfare and dear god its not worth that much.

If it was a life or death situation I would go for Destiny hands down, COD is completely bad for PVP for my preferences.

That's not true. My reflexes have always been slow, but I can tear it up in CoD. Just watch where your going and check your corners.

It's actually a couple bullets, but I'm just proving a point that it's not just a twitch shooter. If you play strategically, you can still do well.

Agreed, I miss COD4 and COD5, those are my only 2, of course MW2 but after I stopped, I hated what they kept doing. At least there was a difference in COD4-MW2 in terms of guns and gameplay using the same formula- they made it feel different- now? It feels like one long sequel

To each his own man but for a lot of the veteran FPS crowd CoD it just a twitch arcade shooter.

I am a veteran FPS player. Yet I don't play any sort of game for a competitive reason, including FPS games. I play video games for fun. And for me, fun is having diversity in the games I play over the years. I don't want to spend 5+ years experiencing nothing but Halo or CoD style multiplayer. Nor do I want to spend all that time just playing multiplayer games.

I'm not competitive either. I'm a casual who plays on the weekend for fun. I also play a variety of games. That wasn't really my point and has nothing to to with the focus if this thread. All we were acknowledging was that the balance and playstyle in those games is crap even compared with Destiny. There was no opinion on variety.

On the overall topic there was no opinion on variety of other games. However your comment about who only plays CoD has nothing to do with game balance. I'm simply stating that I play CoD for fun because I want a variety of games. That's why I replied to this specific comment and not to your original post. To which I agree with by the way. I can't stand Battlefront for many reasons and balance is definitely one of them.

Ok fair enough. I can admit my comment about CoD was a bit salty exaggeration because I despise the franchise so much. Again to each his own.

I used to play a lot of Search and Destroy in the Modern Warfare and even later installments in the Black Ops series. You know, the ones that force you into game chat. CoD's playerbase is awful and horribly toxic.
