Been like that forever.
It's what happens when you sit up top.
You have to go down and wipe them out or it's closed.

We do that. We all go down, kill everything, and then sit at the door. Nothing happens

Ah. Probably server issues. I've been getting kicked with beaver today. Last week the door to Omnigul wouldn't open for us. Tried everything to get it to open then went to orbit. Game was pretty glitchy that day.
