This issue is occurring with the PS4 as well as the XBox One. It can occur even if you own only one console. For example, you do not have to have an XBox One and an XBox 360, or a PS4 and a PS3.
It only occurs while playing Destiny.
It is not an XBox Live or Playstation Network issue.
It's not a console issue and there is nothing one can do to prevent it from occurring.
It has nothing to do with ones Internet Service Provider or connection to them. It's not a Router/Modem issue. Hence, rebooting your Router for example is unnecessary and, in this case, does nothing. Simply exit Destiny and re-start. If it works, great. If not, exit Destiny once more and try again later.
It is an issue Bungie is certainly aware of and likely working to fix. Until then there is nothing the end user can do.

Actually the problem has been reported on both PS and MS consoles.

Edited by zNapSack: 1/22/2017 5:51:37 AMTrue, is why I said: 'This issue is occurring with the PS4 as well as the XBox One. It can occur even if you own only one console.' However, the issue is not with your console. It's not a problem you can fix.

Edited by zNapSack: 1/21/2017 9:38:50 AMPer my post above: 'It can occur even if you own only one console.' The issue is not on your end. Bungie sent out a Tweet regarding it.
