Halo references in destiny?
This is actually a question, I didn't find anything myself. Just wondering if people have seen any easter eggs in destiny that alludes one of the greatest sci-fi series ever made. I know of the master chief building on Mars but maybe something more subtle?

That's the only thing I really know of. My bad, didn't read that you mentioned that already.

1 ReplyThere are a lot of Marathon references in Destiny. Durandal=Rasputin. Collapse of the universe=Darkness. Really awesome game from Bungie back in the 90's.

1 ReplyIn the mission where you shut down the siva guns your ghost sometimes says "shut down the shields to overload the main battery" to which saladin says [i]i think[/i] "that seems familiar.."

In the Cayde's Stash (I don't remember if that's the name, but the giant spaceship mission), after you fight the Echo if you run behind the center platform and scan with your ghost you'll find a cryo pod for an ancient soldier who had his fill of war. Or something to that effect, it's been a while.

1 ReplyIn halo there is actually two things ive seen. 1 there is a sign in a building that has the traveler on it and says destiny awaits. 2 (not sure about this one) I think that the destiny trademark logo is on the bottoms of the Spartans boots

The design on dragons breath, was taken from the design on the flamethrower from combat evolved.

At the tower if you look up a little at spawn you can see two giant pointy pillars that look like energy swords

7 RepliesThe Sleeper simulant is basically the Spartan laser from what I know, and something you can scan on the Caydes Stash mission is similar to Master chiefs story I think.
