The transparency that Bungie holds with any information regarding the status of their product is absurd. Communities LOVE IT when companies, businesses or studios aren't quite as witholding regarding information about what people can expect to see in the future or what is going on currently. Literally just watched a stream that a AAA studio just did and all they talked about were plans for 2017, discussing some questions that viewers had and talking about the state of the game. Being hush-hush on stuff that wasn't quite ready, but open none the less. ...then they had a follow-up stream where the community managers basically just showcased the new stuff, showed off awesome fan-art that was submitted and talked about their favourite fan-concept of the week. I'm constantly blown away by how tight-lipped Bungie is about their product and how they feel that despite having a lot of the changes be influenced by consumer demand, they remain closed off in terms of what their plans are and what should be in store for the audience in the future. It's just not healthy.

 • Funny, that actually reminds me of the live streams and recorded interviews they did leading up to RoI. Though, in the case of Bungie, they only do stuff like that right before a launch and only about the launch, not what's going on for the rest of the year. Deej is always saying very vaguely "we've got more things to come" every week and it's frustrating to only have guesses about when and what those might be. If they just said "weapon balance update is coming in February", cool! "Content update with new missions and at least one new strike in April", cool! I don't need dates promised or exact content details. I just want to know the general time things are coming and what kind of things to expect. It seems their leadership isn't too savvy capitalizing on how to maintain and increase excitement in their own game at a steady pace. They just wait until the last minute for fear that they'll get in trouble if they say anything that isn't fully baked. Or maybe it's still so chaotic over there that they're changing things constantly.

 • It's really a shame because simple things like that would go a long way to satisfying this community. I'm not sure if they even care about the general vibe here or not. I would love nothing more than some information on what they are planning for the product that we are currently playing and using.
