Gearbox just came off a year where they released a title that got absolutely shunted by the market. I'd think they might lay low and focus on development this year.
I might be skeptical of any game they release this year because it might be rushed out of the door to cover the gaping financial hole.

Sad part about all that was the game wasn't bad, it was just a terrible, TERRIBLE launch date. The biggest issue with the game (outside of said date) is it's matchmaking system that can't be fixed without a complete re-write. when looking for games it grabs anyone to throw on your team, and then grabs anyone to throw on the enemy team. No balancing at all. It's why solo players kept getting matched against full parties, which put the final nail in the coffin for the game.

It wasn't necessarily the date that was the problem, it was the entire launch event. In a build up that was dominated by a very similar game, battleborn not only didn't attempt to increase its marketing a huge scale, but also failed to match it in price before it was too late.
