Oh come on! There's more than one way to give an honest opinion, constructive criticism is one thing but you were just straight up being a dick, and no white Knighting here I don't know the guy just can't understand why people decide to be aresholes when they don't need to be.

Nah, I'd rather get better through practice than quit. Just about everyone else gave similar advice.
