Moments like what happen in the PS4 trailer can and will happen, but it's not a nonstop thing. The majority of Elite is doing space simulator stuff (and make no mistake, it IS a simulator, not an action-adventure game) so you will find lows during your experience that can be boring. Some of these boring simulator parts of the game include: manually traveling between planets in a star system (which can take a long time), trading between different systems (space trucking), traveling across large regions of space (this comes from jumping from star system to star system, which can take a long time), and most importantly, getting started with the game. The explosions and lasers and epic battles will not be survivable until you spend several hours getting credits and buying better ships and upgrading them. ED is a great game, but understand that there is no goal you need to accomplish that the game gives you, so set one, or you will be bored throughout your experience, so set one, whether that be exploring the outer reaches of the galaxy, become extremely rich, or just building the best ship to take into a warzone. Also understand that the time between when you spawn for the first time and when you get a respectable ship will be many hours, so have patience.

Looks, and sounds pretty cool. I'm a patient gamer, do all side quest type of guy. Never played a space sim, but loved the exploration in mass effect. Thank you, I do appreciate the GOOD review. I just wish it was out already on the ps4.

Edited by Fashion Lizard: 1/9/2017 6:17:18 PMI recommend joining the group ED Archive. There are quite a few of us that have the game on XB1, but will also be getting it on PS4, so you'll be a part of the gang by the time the game releases on PS4 and have a leg up on the competition. https://www.bungie.net/en/Clan/Detail/1207773
