quick question, On PlayStation do you need to keep having a PS+ membership in order to play the free games?

Yes, and that's why I don't feel too bad when I game I buy shows up for free.

Edited by OJ191: 1/4/2017 4:58:44 AMStrictly speaking, you don't need to "keep" having the membership, you need a membership to acquire the free games and you need a membership to play them, but you can have as big a gap as you like. You can probably easily play all of them in the month they come out anyway if you are intending to let your PS+ lapse.

but lets say i have PS+ and i get a game, when my PS+ runs out I cant play the game until i renew it or just buy the game?
