Not sure what the exact cause is but..
90% of the other idiots on the forums have a similar story of having 5 keys on hand and one or more keys in the postmaster and the next time they sign in they're gone.
So moral of the story is stop hoarding skeleton keys, because I doubt they'll fix it in a timely manner.
And your chances of bungie giving anyone anything is less than you winning the lottery twice in a row.

I had fully planned to use one on this latest strike. But... That a game bug has cost me my supply of keys is irritating. Nor do I harbour any actual hope that Bungie will do anything about my unwarranted loss of keys by simply playing the game (past experiences have shown how poor they are in this area.) At best they might actually fix this game bug. When I've won some keys again I'll know to use them...

Well, is it OUR fault that they make SKs Rare? I'll don't want to spend them cuz THEY ARE RARE

After the recent update, they arent that rare. The other day i played about 6-8 strikes and got 2-3 keys. Maybe i was lucky, but everyone i play with has had generous amounts of keys dropping lately.

Well, yeah but after the patch. I don't even have a supply of SKs and I play 10 strikes in a row so..

Then once you get 4 or 5, use 1.
