I heard something about a New York crater. I wonder what happened there.

Edited by Gucci: 5/16/2017 10:23:24 PMI can only guess DEFCON 1 or a relative equivalent was activated, which would be the call for nuclear war/authorization. The largest cities such as NYC (Hence the New York Crater and Manhattan Nuclear Zone) were probably the ones targeted as taking out the largest cities would give hope of eliminating the enemy the fastest assuming they (the enemy) attacked the big cities. Of course the nuke(s) failed.
