i played blade for a short time but not enough to comment but i will say SUNSINGER needs a buff more then any other sublcass. this really ticks me off. all you see is fusion grenades in the crucible its a grenade based subclass and its grenades are not that good. hell sunbreakers have fusions and can throw hammers.
i think the perfect fix is just put viking funeral back the way it was. the firebolt grenade itself will do less damage then in year 1 because that was nerfed.
i only played blade after they nerfed it . it seemed like a decent subclass but i can say when i use my saladins vigil on a blade dancer it melts more then any other sublcass.
does it need more defense? saladins vigil does not do as good against other supers. so maybee it needs some kind of buff.
id say more damage resistence because when i fight bladedancers they seem more fragile then other subclasses.

Your insane is all i have to say. If you think that Sunsinger is not overpowered then that is like saying smash is terrible. Sunsinger has Self-Res which is good if you know how to use it in pvp and pve. And lets focus on the grenades. Two words for you: Fusion Grenades. If you use your super which charges your grenades and melee fast, you can destroy with both of those grenade and melee combo.

having self res is irrelevant to damage potential. all sunsinger has is fusion grenades. and its pretty annoying that all i see are people using fusions. that is why im using my weak firebolt grenades. you have to compare sunsinger to other subclasses. so a subclass with a grenade based super only has one good grenade? its because of cry babies that sunsinger was thrown into the gutter. do you even play sunsinger? did you play sunsinger after the nerf and for how long? look at nightstalker and look at sunsinger. now i know it may seem like comparing apples to oranges. nightstalkers can shut down supers and not only all 3 grendes are viable it has smoke greandes with it. ok so nightstalker has 4 good grenades and can shut down supers and sunsinger has one. let me bring up another point sunsinger is used the least in PVP. i can debate you all day and win.

damn nightstalkers have the best grenades overall in the game and sunsingers are stuck with only one decent grenade. not to mention nightstalkers can shut down others supers. all 3 of nightstalkers grenades are good oh and ya they have smoke grenades too. i have played nightstalker for a period of time also. one option could be get rid of solar grenade and replace it with another decent grenade. its is seriously lacking decent grenades.

The nightstalker subclass is only good when it comes to grenades. Sure, its super is good for shutting down others supers but the animation to actually shoot the arrow is really slow and someone can just shoot you out of it with a shotgun or a sniper or a primary. So all nightstalker has is grenades. You might as well just use the felwinter artifact which takes away the super for your grenades and stuff. Sunsinger on the other hand is a subclass that has the most op grenades and the super is good because of self res which is good in trials or elimination because once the enemy moves on you can simply self res and destroy with your fusion grenades.

i think sunsinger is one of the most fun when using firebolt grenades. i find voidwalker a bit boring.

It does not look like they care to fix it. people that dont play sunsinger say oh its fine or in year 1 it was OP. I think because less people play sunsinger they argue on the forum its fine. or not enough people are speaking out about this because less people play it. when bungie nerfs things they over nerf.

I mean in bare essentials it was a prototype Sunbreaker, but instead of hammers, you threw fire bolts. Only difference is the hammer will kill you regardless.. fire bolts may have killed you if you took 2 or got shot while running away. Just because something is annoying to fight against doesn't make it overpowered. People throw out "Overpowered" like it's powdered sugar in a donut factory. Just toss it everywhere and call everything OP.

Also the whole point of sunsinger is the damage over time. and that was nerfed into the ground. i remember someone saying on the forums "i dont care there should be no damage over time in the game." damage over time creates a interesting dynamic.
