They need to just get rid of this skill and suffer the consequences for the good of the game.
A one shot kill with no cooldown is absolutely stupid. I don't care if it's hard to do it is simply not intelligent to allow this in a game. I'm happy for the thematic but it baffles me no one saw this problem coming. And now they can't address it without pissing off a third of the fan base.

You're a warlock. That's the cheapest class in the game right now. Let's remove all of your stupidly overpowered perks too. In fact let's just make this game into cod. Sounds fun right? Nope.

Not your passive perks that make your class synergized so well. Oh and if you get a kill with your abilities then your grenades are back up in 3 seconds. Some cool down.

Also, I've played all three classes (switched from Xbox to PS4, saved titan for a run through with my wife who is new to the game). I feel like all three classes have their strengths and weaknesses. And that each subclass is designed with synergy in mind. I do think that people have a tendency to read the meta and copy and paste. You should arrange a subclass to your preference, play style and what works for you. People run shoulder charge because it's a one shot kill that's not on a cool down.
