Let's face it, trials has become one huge mess of people who carry for money. Let's fix that and give us people that want a fair game a chance by limiting the sweaty tryhards. 1 flawless run on your character = no more trials for that week; however, there could be an alternate pool of players that have already gone flawless each week. This gives an opportunity to still complete trials bounties if you go flawless on your first run, but it makes the people that have not gone flawless that week have a chance because the 9-0 sweaties are in a separate player pool. Either that, or elimination should take place of trials for players who went to the lighthouse that week on that character.

Most people that do carries get to 7 wins, then get a new card. So essentially, the last few days would be nothing but sweaties... Trials already has a small base, so by doing what you suggest would make that base even smaller on the last couple of days. Then, all you would see are complaint posts because people would be getting smacked around

1 ReplyEdited by ProjectRahman: 12/26/2016 2:07:37 AMIf you can't beat me while I'm helping 2 below average players to the lighthouse, you don't deserve the lighthouse at all. Earn your gear and stop searching for the easy way out. Don't worry though, bungie will never implement what you're asking. As stated by the crucible lead 'the lighthouse wasn't made for everyone' Guess you're not apart of the group.

Edited by jnikoley: 12/26/2016 2:26:46 AMIf they did what you are saying, the matchmaking pool would be extremely small by the end of the week, and it's bad enough with the tiered system after you hit 7+ wins. What you would end up with is games purely determined by lag and RNG of who ends up with a better connection. Besides, players are already limited to going flawless once per week. You can only open the lighthouse chest once per character.

1 ReplyTypical argument to lock users out of content simply because they can't win

No, no one is sweaty, stop lying to yourself. Take that chip of your shoulder. You are at absolutely no disadvantage to any other players. Just play and improve. Whining in the forums is childish and highlights your lack of moral fibre.

I swear this argument comes up every time and nobody realizes how stupid it is. If they put people who have been flawless before in a different pool, the pool with people who haven't been will get smaller and smaller, and the players in it will get worse and worse. Eventually you'll have terrible players going flawless especially on mondays. Bungie doesn't want bad players going flawless. It's an achievement for good players. It's a reason to practice at pvp and get good so you can make it. You're basically asking for a free trip and it's stupid.

Good GODS - this nonsense again? Listen: all that the streamers would do, is reset THEIR cards before the final game. That's it. System circumvented. This 'solution' would change nothing, except for restricting people playing the game. If you want to play Trials, practice and get better. Please stop wasting everyone's time asking for it to be made easier.
