Just remember if she was conservative and let people know it she would never have gotten any work in hollywood.

*Cough cough* James Woods.
-
Idk if you are trying to tell me James woods is the exception or not. He likely lied about his politics in his early career to not get blacklisted.
-
No actually I'm agreeing with you. James Woods is openly Conservative, and it ruined his career. He said so himself. Lol sorry I should've been more clear.
-
I thought the conservative position was that you should be able to employ who you want to, even if it's discriminatory.
-
That's more libertarian.
-
As long as you're not moaning about something like this whilst also saying discrimination is okay, your position is not untenable.
-
I believe in hiring the best people for the job. Intolerance in Hollywood literally blacklists people for being politically conservative, meaning we might not be getting the best actor/director for the job.
-
That's their prerogative. Incidentally though, Clint Eastwood and Mel Gibson are two examples where your assertion doesn't seem to apply. They've never seemed to struggle.
-
Eastwood was established before Hollywood got radicalized. Gibson was established in Australia. They have to get them before they become a star and that's what they do.
