I got 3:59 on the Venus map with the Time breaker, which is pretty much impossible for the normal Sparrows. Overdrive > Trick > Brake Sparrows.

Wow, I barely beat your time lol. 50 milliseconds. I was more trying to brag, but those top times (3:49 ex) are all Overdrive Sparrows. That's the general gist of the tiers.

Yeah I don't know how to use overdrive sparrows honestly so I just do the best I can with trick lol. Wanted to try and learn in private matches but sadly they decided to leave that till after the event is over

Also you have to be careful of the overdrive glitch where your sparrow spontaneously explodes

That's not a glitch, that's how it works. Once it gets into blow up mode taking your finger off the boost has no effect. You will notice that you seem to be going really fast however.

I'd assume the best time to use OD would be between long waits in between gates, or during shortcuts.
