Dear Golden Age Forklift Driver

It appears that you've left your forklift directly in the middle of the road, and in the way of my sparrow as it races around that corner. I'm going to have the Traveler and my Ghost wake you so that you may relocate this ancient device that no one knows how to operate anymore. If you're already a guardian...MOVE THE GODDAM FORKLIFT! Thank you Kindly, Alien *His name was Errant Forklift. And he shall be remembered. **Check this out. Something I found after a race. Could be a secret to some. https://youtu.be/PLffgEWBdsc ***Lastly, Bungie...GG on this event. It exceeds my expectations. Which wasn't difficult, but still. I think I can speak for a majority that this is a quality event. Thank you.

  • Anyone else really tired of skill based match marking in srl? Like I get on and just wanna get my class S liscense but can't because it's always like a photo finish because we're all less than one second between each other. I hate it, I just wanna race and not have to try hard af to get first

            • The terrain is pretty rough, I'd have to say using my extensive experience as a front end loader operator of various sizes and tonnages that what occurred here is a case of an untrained or unacclimatized driver attempting to move the vehicle under extraordinary circumstances. Given the positioning it appears as though the driver, inexperienced with winter conditions, offroad conditions or both was attempting to move the forklift truck through a forested area with an unpaved road. Due to soil compaction, adverse precipitation et al. it is likely that in the process the powered equipment became bogged down, unable to overcome its own weight through motive force due to loose soil, mud or ice formed from friction of spinning tires too quickly and thus melting only to be flash frozen topsoil snow layers. Given the orientation and the dangerously raised forks, it is likely that someone more knowledgeable attempted to compensate for the poor orientation by shifting the center of balance or attempting to jar the vehicle from its ruts by rapidly shifting the forklift mast upwards and/or forwards. However, this process was clearly abandoned or interrupted by events unknowable and perhaps in haste the operators were forced to abandon it without taking the minimum amount of time necessary to observe proper safety protocols and lower the forks to rest slightly angled tips forward and down to rest on the ground. Alternatively an untrained amateur, in an attempt to startle a group of criminals with a very uncouth plan of carrying two concealed vigilantes in a crate while posing as an unassuming warehouse worker made several clear and obviously unfortunate blunders in attempting to deliver his comrades to the ambush point and was forced to improvise accordingly.

                  • I always look at the left over stuff from the "Golden Age" and wonder why everything looks like it's from 1993.. Seriously look at the cars at the very beginning of the game! Like you would have thought by the time the Golden Age was at it's peak transportation(and fork lifts) would have changed somewhat.

                          • We finally have a reason to go back to the vault of glass...to travel back in time to send a message: "no time to explain, but it is crucial to the future of our race that you move that forklift"
