My gripe with school is that most of all tests are tests of memory not acquired knowledge that can be put to use in a certain circumstance.

What do you think acquired knowledge is? Also, have you ever taken an AP test?

Math is pretty much just that learning how to solve a type of problem and showing that you know how to by solving a bunch of them.
